Hanging In The Balance by aHALOofFIRE
Hanging In The Balance
Charcoal

30 x 22 Inches

Found the skeleton of this drawing in an old folder.  I probably started this one 13 years ago.  Felt like I was time traveling while finishing it.

Thank you for joining!
It's highly recommended to take a closer look into the different sections of our Group gallery. Each folder has its own unique charm. You will not regret it. And please don't miss to visit the artists as well.

We want to point out that we are very picky and it can happen that we also reject images of our members.
Please don't be disappointed if we should have to reject a picture of yours.
Our goal is a group gallery, which is to satisfy the highest possible standards and intended to put the visitors in awe.
:-)

I personally like it, most kid just bitch about this or that, but its mostly my teachers that I like. I feel like you can learn from anything if you try hard enough. Heck even rocks can teach us things if you pay close enough attention to them. I personally dont think it matters too much, esp with art, where you learn from as long as you have a passion for learning you will be unlimited in what you can do in life. You kinda only get what you put in at Ai. They just try and teach you how to be successful in the industry how to brand yourself and network/preparing to work with other animators etc., which is what most artists dont want to hear you know, most artistic learning comes from within i think, everything has to have a purpose at the place, which is one thing I dont like, but that is our fucked up society we live in I guess. People should just be paying us to not think and channel divine energies.

Its weird tho, I have basically taught myself everything I know about animation but it wouldn't have happened on my own without some sort of outside push.

Hope that isn't too much of an abstract answer, but that's what you get I guess haha!

Check out my website and see what you think, ivanmoeanimation.com
The layout is going to change a bunch soon, but a lot of the work was accomplished because of that school i guess, if that gives you a better idea/actually answers your question.

and thanks :)
